Al and Lou drilling holes in a 1 1/2 by 3 inch bar destined to be the top longitudinal bars for one of the locomotives trucks. The old ones were broken through many of the bolt holes, and repaired by some mighty rough looking welds of unknown quality. Replacement was much more efficient than repair in this case.
